We’re on our way!

So Dain arrived alright and we’re currently packing the car. After some trouble with the car rental agency we had a reservation with, we finally found another one that would even give us a free car class upgrade. We’d asked (and payed) for a compact car and that is what ended up with:

Lots of horsepower

A all-wheel-drive SUV! Sweet! Now, while it’s a very nice and comfortable car, it probably also eats gas like nothing… But hopefully it’s worth it. :)
Anyway, time to get our stuff in the car and get on the road. I’ll try to post some short updates here when I have time (and Internet access) on the road…

  1. A brief heads up: We just got in to Seattle after two days of mostly driving. We are able to crash with one of Dain’s old friends around here.
    It’s currently pouring outside, but hopefully tomorrow it’s going to be better since Dain wants to show me around the city.

  2. So we have now spent almost two days in Seattle. We saw lots of interesting things, had plenty of good food and met several nice people. Great times!
    Right now we are waiting to pick up another friend of Dain, whom we will take with us to Spokane, about four hours east of here. Tomorrow we should then be heading into Montana, where we will visit a number of people and places over the next days.

    what’s up? gunnar, fuzzi, uschi and me just had one of our fantastic sauna-nights. we really missed you darling ;) . ok, i’m just writing this because we also had a few beer. beck’s beer by the way. hope you still know how that tastes. by now, it’s just me and uschi, the other two losers left already. so, the only thing left for us to do is finish this 5 liter barrel. we’ll do our best. having you here this would be a lot easier ;) .
